2. For different samples, you should choose an appropriate pH electrode (for example: measuring strong acid, strong alkali or pure water, etc.).
3. During the measurement of the sample, the lead wire of the electrode must be kept still, and do not touch it by hand. Otherwise it will cause unstable measurement.
4. The standard solution must be prepared with secondary distilled water or deionized water. Its conductivity should be less than 2μS / cm, and it is best to use it by boiling.
5. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of standard buffer solutions, alkaline solutions should be tightly sealed in polyethylene bottles. The standard buffer solution should be stored in a refrigerator (low temperature 5-10 ° C), and can generally be stored for 2 to 3 months. If turbidity, mildew, or precipitation is found, do not continue to use it.
6. Do not use standard buffer solutions that have exceeded the shelf life, and do not return the used standard buffer solution to the standard solution storage bottle.
7. During calibration, use a standard buffer solution as close to the pH value of the sample as possible, and the temperature of the calibration solution should be as consistent with the temperature of the sample as possible.
8. If the electrode is replaced during the use of the instrument, it is best to turn it off and on again to perform the calibration.
